Best Record Store in the Midwest
I'm a music fiend. Ask anyone who knows me. I've been to record stores all over the Midwest. This is by far the best. The prices are good. They aren't out to rob you. They stock unusual magazines, toys, records, books, tees. They even have great art on the walls. There's a painting of Col. Sanders and a Daniel Johnston drawing. The selection is amazing but what stands out to me is the guys/gals that work there. They are nice and down to earth. They aren't arrogant snobs. That's what I got a lot of in Detroit. In fact, I'd go as far as to say they don't care for people like that either. I think that's what has helped them grow their base and stay in business. I won't go to the stores in Detroit any more. If I ever move away, I will always make a trek to Shake-It. I don't care where I end up. I will come back. It's totally worth it. Thanks guys!
