Top Notch Entertainment for the Whole Family!!!
The music is haunting and sometimes happy. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. It will make you dance or it will make you tap your knee awkwardly if you cant dance.
You'll hear mighty beats of tribal drumming laced with laser fast finger rolls on doumbeks like rain on a tin roof.
The dancers are hungry tribal women tied together in spiritual harmony. They hynotize you and blind you will all those brilliant colors and hair.

You MUST SEE THEM PERFORM LIVE in order to fully understand what is happening here. It's not just a show...it's an EXPERIENCE.

They have accomplished creating just that.

earth and movement
It's been nearly a year since I started training with the dance instructors at the Center for World Rhythm and Movement and have come to know most of the dancers and musicians very well. For skill, for fun, for muscle isolation or expanding into other forms of dance outside the tribal belly dancing, this is a great community to find a focus with. - yawfren , posted 07/26/05

Excellent studio!
I have taken Beginners I and Beginners II tribal classes from Gaiananda and it was so much fun! They are warm, supportive and incredible instructors!

Tribal bellydance is alive and well in Cincinnati
Gaiananda & the Center for World Rhythms & Movement bring in lots of diverse acts and teachers to share their love of dance and music with the community. They teach various dance classes and perform regularly while contributing to the local scene in many ways. - Kevin "Nevik" , posted 05/04/08
